Samsung taps Azimuth test tech

Azimuth Systems Inc. said today that Samsung Electronics has selected one of its products for testing Samsung's Mobile WiMAX product line.

Azimuth Systems of Acton is a provider of wireless engineering test products.

The Azimuth Systems product that Samsung is using is the ACE 400WB, a WiMAX channel emulator.

"Samsung is leading the mobile broadband technology evolution, and we're pleased that they have partnered with Azimuth to automate their WiMAX testing," Jeff Abramowitz, Azimuth vice president of marketing, said in a statement.
