Venable joins InnoCentive

InnoCentive Inc. today announced the appointment of Thomas Venable as its new executive vice president of sales and marketing.

The Andover company helps corporate clients solve research-and-development problems by posting them on a web site visited by thousands of researchers and scientists from around the world; scientists who solves these problems qualify for financial rewards.

Venable comes to InnoCentive from Digital River Inc., a Minnesota provider of e-commerce solutions, InnoCentive said.
