Winthrop Realty Trust has acquired 13 light distribution and service center properties in Nashville, Tenn., for $87.2 million through a joint venture with Sealy & Co., it said today.
Winthrop, a real estate investment trust in Boston, owns 50 percent of the joint venture; Sealy oversees its day-to-day operations.
Winthrop said $74 million of the purchase price was financed through a first mortgage loan.
The properties have a total of 1.2 million square feet and are 82 percent occupied.
