Aurora forms breast MRI society

Aurora Imaging Technology Inc. said today that it looks to advance the role of dedicated breast MRI by forming a group of healthcare professionals focused on early breast cancer detection.

Aurora of North Andover is the manufacturer of an MRI system expressly designed for breast imaging.

Aurora is calling the new group the Aurora Breast MRI Society and said that the society's first president is Kamilia Kozlowski, the chief executive and clinical breast radiologist at the Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
