Brickman Associates bought a Boston office building at 51 Sleeper St. for $45 million, said the broker involved in the transaction, Grubb & Ellis Co.
The seller was the Mayo Group, a Boston-based real estate firm that specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of commercial and residential properties.
The eight-story building, which was built in 1929, is 86 percent leased to multiple tenants, Grubb & Ellis said.
Brickman Associates is a full-service real estate firm with headquarters in New York City.
