Chinese firm adopts PTC tech

Parametric Technology Corp. said today that a Chinese manufacturer of diesel engines is using Parametric's Windchill solutions to streamline product development and increase efficiencies.

Parametric, a Needham company that refers to itself as PTC, provides solutions for a range of industries, including the automotive industry, to help meet companies' product lifecycle management needs.

PTC said Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Engine Co. Ltd. is using its Windchill product line along with its Pro/ENGINEER implementation.
