Director quits ImmunoGen's board

ImmunoGen Inc., a Cambridge biotechnology company, today said that Howard Pien resigned from the board of directors.

Pien recently accepted the position of president and chief executive at Medarex Inc., of Princeton, N.J., a competitor. Both companies are developing antibody-based anticancer products.

The company has initiated a search to replace Pien.
