Geezeo said it is offering a service to users with text-enabled cellphones that gives them free text-message access to their checking, savings, and credit card accounts.
Geezeo, a privately held company in Framingham, is positioning itself for what it expects to be explosive growth in two-way mobile banking.
According to the company, its Gezeo Mobile service gives consumers real-time access to their accounts; by using such a service, consumers are far less likely to incur overdraft fees or have their credit cards declined.
Geezeo claims that 78 million consumers are active users of text messaging and that many of these users are between 18 and 35.
