GeoVue powers CKE Restaurants

CKE Restaurants Inc. will use geoVue software products to help with its expansion and remodelling plans, geoVue said.

GeoVue, a Woburn provider of location optimization software, said that California-based CKE, which operates more than 3,000 restaurants under such names as Carl's Jr., Hardee's, and Green Burrito, recently licensed geoVue's solution to help prioritize which existing restaurants it should invest more capital in and where it should build new stores.

According to geoVue, its software develops predictive store trade areas that allow clients to decide which markets to enter, expand, or exit and how they should optimize store networks within each market.
