Manzi moves up at Thermo

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. named Jim Manzi, a member of its board, to the post of non-executive chairman.
The Waltham, Mass., maker of environmental monitoring and analysis instruments said Manzi assumes the role previously held by Paul Meister, who retired as chairman April 10. (Dow Jones)
