PI Worldwide of Wellesley acquired Global Sales Alliance of Concord to offer a wider range of consulting services.

PI Worldwide focuses on international management consulting, while Global Sales Alliance specializes in worldwide sales consulting and training.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but PI Worldwide said through a spokeswoman that no jobs were lost as a result of the acquisition.

The acquisition "enables PI Worldwide to bring together all the essential ingredients for delivering both short-term and lasting sales performance improvements," PI Worldwide president Ellen Belli said in a statement.

Nancy J. Stephens, who founded Global Sales Alliance, is now a vice president at PI Worldwide, the company said.
