Sapient taps Pollock for marketing post

Sapient Corp. disclosed today the appointment of Matthew Pollock to the post of creative director for the firm's experience marketing practice.

Sapient is a Cambridge provider of integrated management consulting services.

Sapient said Pollock previously served as a vice president of Digitas Inc., a Boston marketing firm that in December agreed to be acquired by French advertising giant Publicis Groupe in a $1.3 billion deal.

Pollock has "an outstanding track record of driving highly successful online and offline marketing campaigns for the world's most prestigious brands," Sapient chief creative officer Gaston Legorburu said in a statement.
