Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. has begun shipping the M&P45, the .45-caliber version of its Military & Police Series of advanced-design polymer pistols.
Smith & Wesson Holding, of Springfield, is the parent company of Smith & Wesson Corp., a firearms manufacturer.
