The Board of Selectmen in Dunstable granted a cable TV franchise Monday to Verizon Communications Inc., the company said.
The vote means that Verizon's FiOS TV service via an all-digital fiber-optic network will be available to an additional 1,000 Massachusetts households, Verizon said.
With the Dunstable vote, the FiOS TV service is either available or soon will be available in 47 Massachusetts communities, Verizon said.
Headquartered in New York, Verizon delivers broadband and other wireline and wireless communications services to consumers, businesses, government agencies, and wholesale customers.
