W.B. Mason gives Brockton Hospital $1 million

Brockton Hospital has received a $1 million gift from W.B. Mason, the largest gift in the hospital’s 110-year history.
Known for its quirky advertising, W.B. Mason, of Brockton, is a retailer of office supplies and furniture.
The 268-bed hospital said the gift will ‘‘help bring cardiac care in the Brockton area to a new level.’’
