Mandarin Oriental, Boston, a Back Bay pleasure dome that seeks to push the envelope on hotel and condominium luxuries, has scheduled a ribbon-cutting ceremony for today that includes a Feng Shui ritual and a lion dance.
Plans call for Mayor Thomas M. Menino to join Mandarin officials for the grand opening at Mandarin Oriental's hotel-retail-and-condominium complex in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.
The hotel portion of the project features 136 guest rooms and 12 suites, and the residential portion has 49 condominiums and 25 apartments, Mandarin Oriental, Boston, said in a press release.
The property was developed by CWB Boylston.
