Nuance signs multiyear deal with Nokia

nokiaphone108.jpg Nuance Communications Inc., a Burlington speech and imaging software maker, said today that it has signed a multiyear deal with Nokia Corp. to deliver mobile speech and predictive text capabilities across a broad range of devices.

Espoo, Finland-based Nokia is the world's largest cell phone maker.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Nuance's shares fell a penny to $11.42 in morning trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Nokia's American Depositary Shares rose 35 cents, or 2 percent, to $17.04. (AP)
