Carry your data in a portable Patriots hard drive
Tech savvy Patriots fans take note. Data protection company Iomega says it has a must-have holiday gift for you - a $130 portable hard drive branded with the Patriots logo.
Iomega is now part of EMC Corp., the data storage giant headquartered in Hopkinton. The image of the hard drive at right was provided by Iomega.
Iomega described the Patriots hard drive in a press release: "Way smaller than a football, the drive fits in a shirt pocket and comes complete with backup software and free online backup service, too. The eGo Patriots Drive packs a lot of storage capacity with a 250GB 2.5-inch drive that is USB-powered for simple operation (no power supply required). Just plug the drive into the USB port of a laptop or desktop, and the eGo drive will read and write data at USB 2.0 speeds. The eGo Patriots drive can carry up to 1,000,000 photos, over 4,625 hours of music, or 375 hours of video."
The press release added: "The new Patriots branded eGo Portable Hard Drive is now available for $129.99 at participating Staples retailers in the Greater New England area as well as at the Patriots ProShop at Patriot Place and online at www.patriots.com."
