The high-performance boot, with a suggested retail price of $750, was created by Tretorn and top Swedish show jumper Malin Bayard, EquiFit said in a press release; the boot features "enhanced breathability, functionality, and support."

The press release included a statement from Alexandra Cherubini, EquiFit's founder and president.

"From the boots' clean lines to their range of uses, the Tretorn design team thought of everything," Cherubini said. "When I first saw them, I immediately knew I had to have them."

"Not only are they ideal for everyday use, they look terrific too," Cherubini added of boots that come in red or black and that can be purchased online at her company's website.

Tretorn is a subsidiary of Puma AG, the German maker of athletic footwear and apparel.
