Nixon Peabody expansion includes Silicon Valley

Nixon Peabody LLP, an international law firm with some Boston roots, said it finalized its vote to admit to the partnership a large team of attorneys from Thelen LLP.

The new partners "significantly strengthen" Nixon Peabody’s presence on the West Coast, including Silicon Valley, the firm said.

Along with those additions, the firm said it also plans to hire a number of associates and staff from Thelen to help support the new partners. As a result, it is anticipated that will have more than 825 attorneys worldwide in 19 cities, the firm said.
