ImmunoGen Inc., a Waltham biopharmaceutical company that develops targeted anticancer therapeutics, said that it has appointed James J. O'Leary, MD, as vice president and chief medical officer. O'Leary will lead the clinical development of ImmunoGen's product candidates. Prior to joining ImmunoGen, O'Leary was senior medical director of clinical oncology at Bayer Corp., where his responsibilities included leading the global clinical development team for a late-stage anticancer agent.

Analogic Corp. announced that Rolf Hupke has joined the company as president of Analogic's China Operations and that Nathan Li has been appointed director of China Business Development. Analogic of Peabody is a designer and manufacturer of advanced health and security systems and subsystems sold primarily to original equipment manufacturers. In a press release, Analogic said that Hupke will be based in Shanghai and develop service and manufacturing capabilities in China to support the company's growing customer base there. Li will focus on strengthening Analogic's existing customer relationships in the region and developing new sales opportunities. Before his appointment, Hupke served as vice president of Siemens Limited and director of Corporate Quality Management. Li most recently served as sales director of High Power Systems at Copley Controls Corp., a Canton company acquired by Analogic in April.
