wilmer1114.jpg WilmerHale, a law firm with headquarters in Boston, announced the opening of an office in Frankfurt, Germany, the firm's second office in Germany.

“Our expansion into Frankfurt is another significant milestone for our firm,” William J. Perlstein, co-managing partner of WilmerHale, said in a statement. “When we opened our initial German office in 1993 as the first US firm in Berlin, we were primarily focused on our regulatory practices. Since then, we’ve equally and successfully expanded our corporate and IP (intellectual property) practices in Europe. This growth, along with our belief in the importance of the German market and the strength of our German client base, made establishing an office in Frankfurt a logical strategic step.”
