3Com wins contract from government of Israel

coms1202.jpg Telecommunications equipment maker 3Com Corp. of Marlborough said today it has won an exclusive contract to provide the government of Israel with an advanced networking solution for Israel's new LAN, or local area network, infrastructure project.

The company described the contract as multi-million dollar deal, but its press release did not offer additional financial details. To read that press release, please click here.

The company said that its 3Com direct-touch sales team in Israel worked closely with channel partner Harel Computers and Communication LTD to win the business.
