Bind Biosciences subleases Alkermes lab space

bind1202.jpgOne Cambridge biotechnology company is subleasing laboratory and office space from another, a broker involved in the transaction said.

The broker, the Boston-based commercial real estate company Colliers Meredith & Grew, said that privately held Bind Biosciences Inc. has subleased just over 26,000 square feet of space from Alkermes Inc.

The space is at 64 Sidney St., which is located at University Park at MIT in Cambridge, said Colliers Meredith & Grew, which represented Alkermes in the transaction.

Bind Biosciences was represented by Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC, another Boston-based commercial real estate firm, Colliers Meredith & Grew said.

In an recent unrelated news, Alkermes said that it has regained US commercialization rights to Vivitrol, an injectable medication for the treatment of alcohol dependence.
