ExtendMedia raises $10 million

ExtendMedia Corp., a Newton company that helps media companies monetize their video content, said it has raised $10 million in Series C funding from previous backers.

Those backers include venture firms TVM Capital, which has offices in Boston, Atlas Venture, which has offices in Waltham, and Venrock Associates, which has offices in Cambridge.

This round brings the company’s total funding to $33 million, a company spokesman wrote in an e-mail; ExtendMedia customers include AT&T, Bell Canada, and Nascar.
