Gas prices in Massachusetts have dropped another dime to their lowest level in nearly five years. AAA Southern New England reported Monday that a gallon of self-serve, unleaded regular gas averaged $1.74 in its weekly survey. That is the cheapest price since April 2004.
AAA found self-serve regular gas as low as $1.55 a gallon in some areas of Massachusetts in its survey. Prices in the Bay State are a cent below the national average. (AP)
