Fenway Sports Group of Boston said that Professional Bull Riders Inc. has selected the sports group as its exclusive third party sponsorship sales agency.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, said Fenway Sports Group, or FSG, a wholly owned subsidiary of New England Sports Ventures, which also owns the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park, and 80 percent of New England Sports Network.
Professional Bull Riders Inc. is headquartered in Colorado and is also known as PBR.
Under the multi-year agreement, FSG said in a press release that it will "work hand-in-hand with the PBR sales team to develop programs that leverage PBR's portfolio of sports marketing assets, provide comprehensive property analysis and valuation services, identify new revenue streams; maximize existing sponsorship assets, and cultivate and secure new corporate partnerships."
The New York Times Co., the Globe's parent company, owns 17 percent of New England Sports Ventures.
