Courier Corp., a specialty book publisher headquartered in Chelmsford, said it will close New Jersey subsidiary Book-mart Press Inc. because of a "weak economy and a changing competitive environment."

That decision will result in 72 employees losing their jobs, none in Massachusetts, Courier said.

Work performed in New Jersey will be consolidated at Courier facilities in Massachusetts, the company said.

Acquired by Courier in 1997, Book-mart Press had about $7 million in annual sales, Courier said in a press release.
