Dancing Deer taps Carpenito as president

Dancing Deer Baking Co. of Boston announced that Frank Carpenito is the company’s new president and chief operating officer.

Carpenito has assumed responsibility for running Dancing Deer’s day-to-day business operations, Dancing Deer said in a press release.

The release added that company founder and chief executive Trish Karter, shown in a Globe file photo at right, will focus her energies on strategy, branding, marketing, and product development.

Most recently, Carpenito was chief executive of Fairfield Farm Kitchens, a national manufacturer of branded frozen/refrigerated entrees, baked goods, and soups, Dancing Deer's press release said.
