The average price for a gallon of gas in Massachusetts was unchanged at $1.629 from last week in the latest survey from AAA Southern New England.
Before the survey released today, the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gas in the Bay State had fallen for 15 straight weeks, AAA Southern New England said.
In a press release, AAA Southern New England noted that a year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price for a gallon of gas was $3.05.
Currently, the national average price for self-serve unleaded gas is $1.67, AAA Southern New England added.
