Monster and the Sun-Times unveil alliance
Monster.com, the job search website with much of its operations in Maynard, and the Sun-Times News Group, a newspaper and media company with a big presence in Chicago and its surroundings, announced a strategic alliance today, the two companies said.
The alliance includes the launch of co-branded websites that offer combined online and print services via the Chicago Sun-Times and 70 other newspaper titles in the area, the companies said.
In a joint press release, they said the websites will combine the service, convenience, and local audience of the Sun-Times News Group's reach with the tools and career resources of Monster.
Monster, the flagship brand of Monster Worldwide Inc. of New York, has similar arrangements with nearly 30 newspaper and media companies, including The New York Times Co., parent of The Boston Globe.
