Daniel M. Bollag, Andreas Woppmann, and Kelly M. Schmitz have been appointed to newly created positions at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Cambridge company focused on developing drugs for cancer patients. Bollag is the company's senior vice president, regulatory affairs and quality. Previously, he served as vice president of regulatory affairs for Genzyme Corp. Woppmann has been appointed as vice president of manufacturing operations and Schmitz as vice president of information technology and operations. "We are very pleased to welcome these talented professionals to our senior management team," ARIAD chairman and chief executive Harvey J. Berger said in a statement. Nancy106.jpg Dale Okonow (right) has returned to the company he helped found two decades ago. Okonow, an attorney and business executive, is bringing his turnaround skills to the Watermill Group, a Lexington firm that partners with management teams to help them build their companies. Earlier in his career, Okonow was at HMK, the Watermill Group's predecessor company. Okonow was most recently president and chief operating officer of Sawyer Realty Holdings LLC, a multi-family real estate investment and management firm.

Daniel Paquette has been tapped as chief sustainability officer for Woodmeister Master Builders, a Holden company specializing in luxury homes and interiors. Paquette previously operated a private consulting firm that focused on sustainable construction.

Mark L. Johnson, formerly the chair of the underwriting group at WilmerHale, has joined law firm Cooley Godward Kronish LLP as a partner, resident in the firm's Boston office.
