Weber updates book on social Web marketing
Internet marketing veteran Larry Weber has updated his book "Marketing to the Social Web," his firm, W2 Group of Waltham, said.
The book was originally published in mid-2007, and the social Web has become even more prevalent since that time, said a press release from W2, which operates the Racepoint Group public relations firm as well as Digital Influence Group, which specializes in social media marketing.
"Weber's second edition keeps up with this growth" of the social Web, said the release, which added: "A new chapter, 'Does Facebook Matter?,' discusses Facebook as a valuable marketing tool and not simply a free-access social network. Interviews with entrepreneurs Jeremy Allaire of Brightcove and Marcel Lebrun of Radian6, among others, address new media and developments in measurement tools."
