EXACT Sciences gets Nasdaq listing notice

EXACT Sciences Corp. of Marlborough said it has received notice from the Nasdaq Stock Market that it no longer in compliance with Nasdaq listing rules.

The company, which uses applied genomics to develop patient-friendly screening technologies for the detection of cancer, said it is exploring options to regain compliance, and under Nasdaq rules, it has until early June to do so.

In a press release, the company also said, "Based on current expectations and operating assumptions, EXACT believes that its cash resources should last into 2011."
