Andrew Vrees has been named news director of WCVB-TV (Channel 5) and its website, TheBostonChannel.com. Vrees has been the news director at WCVB sister-station WMUR-TV in Manchester, N.H., since 2004. WCVB and WMUR are owned by Hearst-Argyle Television Inc.

Raymond L. D’Arcy, 56, has officially succeeded Stuart J. Clark as president and chief executive officer Interactive Data Corp., a provider of financial market data, analytics and related services to financial institutions, active traders, and individual investors. Headquartered in Bedford, the company previously announced the appointment as part of its formal chief executive succession process. (To read today's press release, please click here.)

Bob Darin and Elise Gemeinhardt-Burns have joined Health Dialog Services Corp., a Boston firm that helps physician groups, health plans, government agencies, and self-insured employers improve healthcare quality while reducing overall costs. Darin is the company's new senior vice president of international analytics, Gemeinhardt-Burns holds the title of vice president of government affairs. Darin re-joins Health Dialog from Cardinal Health, where he was vice president of information services. Gemeinhardt-Burns was previously with United Health Group, where she served in Washington, D.C., as vice president of federal affairs.

Attorney Diego R. Figueroa has joined the Boston office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP. Figueroa most recently served as financial and legal advisor to the president of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico. Figueroa will concentrate his practice in the areas of public finance law and real estate development, with a special focus on matters involving Puerto Rico.
