The average price for a gallon of gas rose 1 cent in the latest weekly survey of AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s April 13 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $1.969 per gallon, the organization said.
The current price is 9 cents below the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.05, and the price is $1.23 less than the $3.19 found in Massachusetts at this time a year ago, AAA Southern New England said.
