Newton firm will help build a dorm at Bryant U.

Diversified Project Management Inc. said it has been hired by Bryant University to manage the ground-up construction of new student housing as well as the renovation and expansion of its stadium field house at its 420-acre campus in Smithfield, R.I.

With offices in Newton, Diversified Project Management said that Bryant is expanding its on-campus housing by adding a new five-story freshman dorm and two new “senior” townhouses; combined, the new buildings will house over 350 students.
