AT&T offers a free Dave Matthews Band song
For fans excited about the upcoming Dave Matthews Band concerts at Fenway Park, AT&T is offering a bonus: A chance to get a free download of a song today from the new album that the band is set to release next week.
The album - "Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King" - is set for a Tuesday release, but starting today and for a limited time, AT&T wireless customers can get a free mobile MP3 download of one of the album's songs, an AT&T spokeswoman said in an e-mail.
AT&T is working with Napster Mobile on the promotion, she added.
"AT&T customers can text DMB to 7299 today to download the free full track of 'Funny The Way It Is' or to purchase ringtones or answer tones from the album," the spokeswoman wrote in her e-mail.
Ringtones and answer tones available for purchase today by AT&T customers are for six songs from the new album including “Shake It Like a Monkey,” “Dive In,” and "Seven," AT&T said.
