D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches is launching a new advertising campaign called “You Deserve D’Angelo,” which breaks in Providence the week of May 18 and in Boston the week of May 25.
The new campaign, created by Boston ad shop Connelly Partners, centers on D’Angelo’s superior quality and standards, the Dedham-based sandwich chain said in a press release.

“Our guests continue to cite our food’s high quality ingredients and great taste as a reason to visit our restaurants,” Michael McManama, D'Angelo's senior vice president of brand development, said in a statement. “Our guests are willing to spend a little more to purchase a quality sandwich, and this new advertising campaign encourages them to do so because they deserve it.”
The campaign includes a spot that features the D’Angelo lobster sandwich, which appears regularly on the chain's spring menu; the lobster sandwich, which comes in several sizes, starts at $9.99, D'Angelo said.
D'Angelo's parent company, Papa Gino’s Inc. also operates the Papa Gino's chain of pizzerias. Papa Gino's Inc. operates more than 370 company-owned and franchised Papa Gino’s, D’Angelo, and dual-location restaurants.
