Headquartered in Burlington, Mzinga is focused on providing on-demand social software solutions for marketing and customer support.

"Mzinga's moderation team will work with us to keep our readers' comments relevant and timely with the high quality that our fans have come to expect from NESN.com," Michael Hall, NESN's director of new media, said in a statement included in Mzinga's press release.

NESN is a regional cable station that telecasts sporting events. NESN is owned by the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins. The New York Times Co., owner of the Globe, also owns a minority stake in the company that owns the Red Sox.
