Strategis, a marketing and communications company headquartered in Stoughton, said it has been chosen to work with SummerAdvantageUSA to help them prepare for a launch of their national educational offering.

Billings were not disclosed.

"SummerAdvantageUSA is a national organization that is dedicated to providing elementary and middle school students living in low-income communities with research-based summer learning programs designed to produce substantial academic gains," Strategis said in a press release. "Strategis will be creating a website for the program as well as collateral materials for the program. New work from Strategis is expected in June."

The press release added that SummerAdvantageUSA is a project headed by Boston-based Earl Martin Phalen; he is the founder and former chief executive of BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life), a provider of out-of-school time educational programs.
