Cerulean Pharma closes $10m financing round

Cerulean Pharma Inc., a Cambridge biopharmaceutical company, said that it has closed a $10 million Series B-1 financing.

Existing venture investors Polaris Venture Partners of Waltham, Venrock, Lux Capital, and Bessemer Venture Partners, which has an office in Wellesley participated in the financing round, Cerulean Pharma said in a press release.

Cerulean Pharma is focused on designing nanoparticle-based drugs.
