H&M is ready to unveil its fashions in Dedham

Hennes & Mauritz, better known as H&M, said it will open a store in Dedham on Aug. 15 at noon.
The retailer prides itself on being au courant with the latest in fashion - indeed, its look is so next year that the pop chanteuse Madonna has been spotted sporting an H&M track suit, and Scandinavian heartthrobs have been known to regard H&M as a haberdasher of choice. (That's actor Mads Mikkelsen pushing a winter look to the very limits of panache in a photo at left by free-lancer Daniel Jackson.) Need a pair of trendy trousers or a fun top? Then H&M may have something for you.
"This new store location will provide consumers in the area with yet another outlet to express their personal style with affordable fashion," H&M said in a press release.
The new store will be located at Legacy Place, a new Dedham shopping center that is billed as an "outdoor lifestyle center."
An L.L. Bean store opened at Legacy Place earlier this month.
