Kingston approves Verizon FiOS TV cable franchise

The Kingston Board of Selectmen has approved a cable franchise for Verizon's FiOS TV, Verizon Communications Inc. said.
Verizon describes its FiOS TV service as the "most advanced all-digital, fiber-optic network" that goes straight to customers' homes.
Verizon said the authorization by the Kingston board brings to 98 the total number of Massachusetts communities where Verizon’s FiOS TV is or will soon be available.
