BRA is telecasting its board meetings
The Boston Redevelopment Authority, the city planning agency that reviews the proposals of real estate developers to reshape the city and its neighborhoods, said that the public will now be able to view the proceedings of its board meetings live on the city’s government access television station (Comcast 24/RCN 13).
Tthe meetings will be available as a streaming video feed on the city’s website (www.cityofboston.gov/cable/live.asp), the BRA said..
“Broadcasting our board meetings is the latest step in our continuing effort to make our meetings more accessible to the citizens of Boston,” said BRA director John Palmieri, who added that BRA recently switched the start time of its board meetings from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The remaining 2009 board meetings are scheduled for Oct. 20, Nov. 17, and Dec. 17, the BRA said in a press release. (Globe Staff)
