Financial firm plans move to 100 High St.

Investment Technology Group Inc., a financial technology firm that partners with asset managers, has signed a lease to occupy 73,076 square feet of space at the Boston office building at 100 High St., said a broker involved in the transaction.

The broker is GVA Thompson Hennessey & Partners, which represented Investment Technology Group. The building's landlord, Equity Office Properties, was represented by Colliers Meredith & Grew.

Investment Technology Group is the first major tenant to commit to 100 High St. since the law firm Bingham McCutchen vacated the premises in 2008, GVA Thompson Hennessey said.

Investment Technology Group currently occupies Boston office space at 44 Farnsworth St. and 321 Summer St., GVA Thompson Hennessey said, and Investment Technology Group is expected to move into its new Boston quarters in May.
