John Moore has been appointed to the position of executive vice president and director of media services at Mullen, a Boston ad agency. Moore, an 11-year veteran of the agency, is running the mediahub group, the media planning and buying group within Mullen. Moore is taking over for Steve Calder, who recently left Mullen to take a client-side media position with Hewlett-Packard in California.

Paulette J. Morgan has joined Nixon Peabody LLP as counsel in the firm's Global Business & Transactions Practice, which has a particular focus on the life sciences industry. Morgan joins the firm from Pfizer Inc, in New York, where she was senior corporate counsel. She will be splitting her time between the firm’s Boston and New York City offices.

Mike Troiano has joined Holland-Mark to head the Boston ad agency's new digital unit. His resume includes stints as chief executive of Crimson Hexagon, a Cambridge-based firm specializing in strategic Web analytics. He's also worked at such ad agencies as McCann-Erickson and Foote, Cone & Belding, and Ogilvy & Mather Interactive.

Bryan Trainor has been named vice president of marketing for bulbs.com, an online retailer of replacement lighting headquartered in Worcester. Most recently, he was a director of mutual funds and brand marketing with Fidelity Investments, where he developed integrated marketing and advertising plans for Fidelity's Fixed Income and Index Funds portfolio.
