World Energy Solutions brokers CER deal

World Energy Solutions Inc., a Worcester-based operator of online exchanges for energy and green commodities, said it has brokered a purchase agreement for more than 1.4 million certified emissions reductions, or CERs, on the World Green Exchange.

The deal was conducted on behalf of B-road International Investment, a Chinese project developer, World Energy Solutions said; the buyer, COzero, is an Australian marketer of green power and carbon offsets.
