Boston Millennia Partners, a private equity firm, said that one of its portfolio companies, Athenix Corp., has been acquired by Bayer CropScience for $400 million.
According to Boston Millennia Partners, the sale generated a tenfold return on the firm's investment in Athenix, a North Carolina-based biotechnology company that develops novel products and technologies for agricultural and industrial applications. (Globe Staff)
