Comcast is offering Norton security features

Comcast said it is now offering the Norton Security Suite to residential and business subscribers of Comcast's high-speed Internet service for no additional cost.

The Norton Security Suite, a product offering from Symantec Corp., is designed to protect personal computers against viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, malicious bots, and identity theft; the suite also offers a range of parental controls that can be customized, Comcast said.

Comcast subscribers with Macintosh systems will receive Norton Internet Security for Mac, Comcast added.
